When asked how did he prepare for the big job, he said "I am a man nearing my 70s and at this age running around isn't that easy". Further he said "I feel that by inviting me here today the people of the UK have honoured my film industry and my country and it's a matter of great pride for us all. I am very proud to be here" - and indeed it is a matter of great pride to him and all Indians all over the world.
