Books On Actor Madhu Released At IFFK

2 books on the life of veteran Malayalam actor Madhu were released in a function at the 16th International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK 2011) in Thiruvanathapuram on Tuesday, 13th Dec 2011. The titles of the books were 'Vellithirayude Madhavapurnima and its English version A Darling lover of Silverscreen The books were released by superstar Mohan Lal by handing over it to Bollywood actress Shehnaz Anand, who acted with Madhu in his first Hindi movie Saat Hindustani in 1969. Amitabh Bachchan too co-stars in this movie.

Mohan Lal after releasing the book said, Madhu was an actor who has to be honoured with national recognition and the industry is waiting for a Priyadarshan movie starring Madhu. The book Vellithirayude Madhavapurnima in Malayalam was written by Vinil Malayilkada and it was translated into English by Sathrughnan.
