Will Smith's I Robot, Steven Spielberg's AI (Artificial Intelligence), and now Rajni's Enthiran. The first thing that would strike you is the resemblance of the computer generated robots in the movie Enthiran to that seen in the movie I Robot. But then I hope thats where the similarities end. Because Indian robots can sing, dance and romance too, unlike their western counterparts who follow a strict routine. We know that where Rajni is involved, there would be gravity defying cigarette tricks, unbelievable gun shots with super-calculated mathematical precision - All that when he is a simple human being. And now, with him being officially given super robotic powers, I shudder to even think of what all the poor audience would be subjected to in Rajnikanth's latest movie ! All the hardcore Rajnikanth fans that we spoke to are excitedly awaiting the release of Enthiran. They didn't seem particularly interested in whether the movie has a storyline or not, they'd be happy to just watch Rajnikanth on screen. On the other hand, some of the sci fi fans we spoke to were quite certain that the movie would be an overkill of computer graphics, and you can expect plenty of mis-use of technology, which would kill the story!
All set to release on the 24th of September 2010, Enthiran is one of India's costliest movie making adventure.
